A painter and a graphics designer, draftsman (1941-1998), a graduate from the Higher School of Arts in Lodz in the class of Stanisław Fijałkowski (received his diploma in 1969), then a lecturer and a full professor at this facility. He conducted classes of drawing and graphics using rotogravure technique. He took part in numerous exhibitions both in Poland and abroad.

Leszek Rózga wrote about him: “At first he was a sensualist and gradually he became closer to intellectualism, transcendent experiences, something close to mysticism”. He delved into graphics, mostly litography, but he also designed posters, illustrated booksand prepared graphic designs for many publishing houses. He was a master of etching and aquatint. He co-operated with the Logos theatre as a stage designer.
